Licensing

USFL ATHLETE, COACH AND OFFICIALS LICENSING

As a regulatory and sanctioning organization, the USFL is responsible to license participants involved in
competitions. Licensing is meant to track athletes and officials as well as ensure their suitability for participation in the sport. Since most events involve youth participants, background checks are also required for adults who's duties involve direct contact with minors.

To keep with our charter in developing good character and citizenship via participation in safe and affordable combat Sports, the USFL has strived to keep all costs involved with participation at a minimum. The USFL collects no fees from promoters but requires a minimum per diem be paid directly to all officials.
